Your trip to Durrës: flights, ferry, hotels and how many days you need

Durrës is a short flight from many European cities and one night by ferry from Bari, in Italy. Here you will find everything you need to plan your trip: how to get here, where to stay and how many days each treatment takes.

By plane

The nearest airport is Tirana International Airport (Rinas). It has direct flights from many European cities, including Birmingham, Dublin, Rome, Milan, Bologna and Turin. The main airlines are Ryanair, Wizz Air and ITA Airways.

From the airport to the clinic

The drive from Tirana airport to the clinic takes about 35 minutes by car or taxi. The clinic is at the entrance of Durrës, near Lulishtja park and the Aqueduct, at Rruga Dalip Peza, Lagjia 17.

We can arrange your transfer. Depending on your treatment it is included or has a small cost: just ask when you book your dates and we will pick you up at the airport.

By ferry

If you prefer to travel with your own car, there are direct ferries to Durrës from Bari and Ancona in Italy. From Bari the crossing takes about 8–10 hours, usually overnight, with Adria Ferries, GNV and Ventouris Ferries. The port of Durrës is a few minutes from the clinic.

Where to stay

Durrës has many affordable hotels and apartments, including on the seafront. We recommend staying close to the clinic, so the trips between appointments are short.

We confirm the exact plan after seeing your photos or your X-ray.

Documents

Most European visitors do not need a visa for a short stay in Albania. EU citizens can enter with a valid ID card or passport. Check the entry requirements for your nationality before you travel. The local currency is the Albanian lek.
