5-year guarantee and check-ups after you return home

All our treatments come with a 5-year guarantee. Here we explain what it covers, how it works and what happens if you have a problem after you return home.

What the guarantee covers

The guarantee applies to all work done at our clinic: implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures and fillings. If a piece of work breaks or does not work because of a defect, we repair or redo it.

How it works over the years

The guarantee decreases over time: in the first years it covers a larger share of the cost, then the share goes down.

What we ask of you

To keep the guarantee valid, we only ask for a little care:

• Look after your oral hygiene following the advice we give you.
• Have a check-up and a cleaning at least once a year, also with your own dentist at home.
• If you have a problem, contact us before another dentist works on it: that way we can help you.
• The guarantee covers defects in the work, not damage caused by accidents or injuries.

If you have a problem after returning home

1. Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and a short description of the problem.
2. Dr. Alket Beja reviews your case remotely and tells you whether it is urgent and what to do in the meantime.
3. If treatment is needed, we do it at our clinic in Durrës. We agree the travel dates together.

We have no partner clinics abroad: guarantee repairs are done at our clinic, where we have your records, your X-rays and the details of the materials used.

Travel (flights and accommodation) is paid by the patient. The repair under guarantee is covered according to the table above.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get a guarantee document? Yes. At the end of treatment you receive a guarantee certificate and your treatment plan with the materials used (for example the implant brand and the type of crown). Keep them: you will need them for check-ups, also at home.

Can I have check-ups at home? Yes, routine check-ups and cleanings can be done by your own dentist. For repairs under guarantee, however, you need to come back to us.
