A dental implant is an artificial titanium root placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth. A crown is fixed on top that looks, feels and works like a natural tooth.
Our implants are placed by Dr. Alket Beja, who holds a second-level Master’s in Implant Prosthodontics from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and has lectured on the same Master’s programme. We use quality Euroteknika and DIO implants and gentle surgical techniques for faster healing.
Clinical exam, digital panoramic X-ray and bone assessment.
We choose implant position, length and type using a 3D scan.
Procedure under local anaesthesia, usually 30–60 minutes per implant.
2–4 months of integration into the bone; a temporary tooth if needed.
Digital scan and fitting of a zirconia or ceramic crown.
Professional hygiene and a check every 6 months for maximum lifespan.
One implant with a crown replaces a single tooth without touching the neighbouring teeth. For several missing teeth, two implants can support a zirconia bridge.
For patients with no teeth, 4–6 implants can support a fixed denture, or a removable one that no longer moves when you eat and speak.
Modern technology makes surgery more precise, faster and with less swelling afterwards.
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, so you feel no pain during it. In the following days there may be mild discomfort, relieved by an ordinary painkiller.
With good hygiene and regular check-ups an implant can last many years, often a lifetime.
Often yes. In many cases a bone graft is done or suitable implants are used. We assess it with an X-ray during your visit.
In most cases you can wear a temporary tooth during healing, so you are not left with a gap in visible areas.
Care is needed with uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking or some bone medications. Every case is assessed individually.
