When decay or an injury reaches the nerve of a tooth, you may get severe pain, sensitivity to hot and cold or swelling. Root canal treatment (endodontics) clears the infection from the inside and saves your natural tooth.
We use modern instruments and laser for deeper disinfection of the canals. Our aim is always to keep your tooth, because nothing fully replaces a natural one.

Local anaesthesia: you feel no pain during treatment.
We remove the inflamed nerve, then clean and disinfect the canals.
The canals are filled and sealed; the tooth is rebuilt, often with a crown.
Modern technology makes root canal treatment faster, more precise and far less unpleasant than many people expect.
Not during treatment, as it is done under local anaesthesia. Afterwards there may be mild sensitivity for a few days.
A natural tooth is always the best option. An extraction leaves a gap that later needs an implant or bridge.
A root-filled tooth becomes more brittle. On back teeth a crown protects it from breaking.
